Return, Exchange & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with STELLAR GEMS. Your satisfaction is important to us. Please read our return, exchange and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.
Eligibility for Returns
We offer returns for eligible products within [7/10/15/30] days from the date of delivery, as confirmed by our courier partner.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
– Be unused, unworn and in the same condition as received.
– Have no scratches, damage, alterations or resizing done by any third party.
– Be returned with all original packaging, certificates, invoices, accessories and promotional items (if any).Customised, engraved, “made-to-order”, resized, or personalised pieces (including special sizes, special designs, custom initials, logos or names) are generally not eligible for return or refund, unless there is a manufacturing defect confirmed by us in writing.
Return Process

Once the return is approved, we will share instructions for securely packing the product and sending it to us / or we will arrange a pickup via our logistics partner (as applicable).
The product must reach us within [X] days from the date of approval to remain eligible for a refund. Items received outside this timeframe may be rejected or treated as exchange/buyback at our discretion.
Risk of loss or damage in transit during return remains with the customer until the package is received and acknowledged by STELLAR GEMS, unless we have arranged insured pickup.
Inspection and Quality Check
After receiving the returned item, our quality control team will inspect the product and verify:
– Originality and authenticity of the diamond and metal.
– Condition of the item (wear, damage, alteration, resizing, missing stones, etc.).
– Presence and condition of original certificates, invoice and packaging.If the product passes quality inspection, your refund/exchange/buyback will be processed as per this policy.
If the product fails inspection (for example, damage, missing certificate, tampering, non-original item), STELLAR GEMS may reject the return or deduct appropriate charges. In such case, the item will be shipped back to you, and no refund may be issued.
Refund Terms
For approved returns within the standard return period:
– You will be eligible for a refund of up to [100%] of the invoice value, excluding shipping, insurance and any applicable payment gateway charges, unless otherwise specified in an offer or promotion.
– If any discounts, coupons or offers were applied at the time of purchase, the refundable amount may be adjusted accordingly.For missing or damaged lab-grown diamond certificates, a replacement/penalty fee of [₹X,000] may be deducted.
Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment (for example, credit card, UPI, bank transfer) within [7–10] business days after completion of inspection and approval. Actual credit time may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Cash-on-delivery (COD), if offered, will typically be refunded via bank transfer / store credit as per our internal process.
Exchange and Buyback (Optional – if you plan to offer it)
Exchange within [X] days:
– You may exchange the product for another design or higher value product.
– In case of higher value purchase, the difference must be paid by the customer.
– In case of exchange for lower value product, the difference may be issued as store credit.Lifetime Exchange / Buyback (if applicable, customise numbers):
– Lab-grown diamonds: up to [70–80]% of prevailing stone value or invoice value (whichever is lower).
– Gold: up to % of net gold weight at prevailing market rate; making charges and taxes are non-refundable.
– Making charges, design charges, customisation fees, shipping and taxes may be fully deducted.
The above values and percentages are indicative and may be revised by STELLAR GEMS from time to time without prior notice.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable:
Custom-designed, engraved or personalised jewellery.
Items that show signs of wear, damage, breakage, modification or resizing by third parties.
Items returned without original certificate(s), invoice and packaging (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
Products sold under “Final Sale”, “Clearance”, or “No-Return” offers, as clearly mentioned at the time of purchase.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled by the customer within [24/48] hours of placing the order, provided manufacturing or dispatch has not begun.
Once production or dispatch has started, cancellation may not be possible or may attract cancellation charges (for example, actual costs incurred on metal, stones, labour, shipping, etc.).
STELLAR GEMS reserves the right to cancel any order in case of pricing errors, stock unavailability, quality issues or any other reason. In such cases, any amount paid will be fully refunded to you.
Shipping Charges and Insurance
Original shipping, insurance, customs duties or any additional charges paid by you are generally non‑refundable, unless specifically stated otherwise.
For returns, shipping charges may:
– Be borne by the customer, or
– Be borne by STELLAR GEMS as part of a special offer, as clearly communicated at the time of sale.
For international orders, customs duties, taxes or import fees paid in the destination country cannot be refunded by STELLAR GEMS.
Policy Updates
STELLAR GEMS reserves the right to modify, amend or update this Return, Exchange & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the website and placement of orders after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the updated policy.
